About Me

About Me

Thank you for visiting!
I bring over 15 years of experience in project-based interior design, following a 15-year career in financial services, where I specialized in project and program management. This unique combination of expertise enables me to deliver designs that are not only elegant and comfortable but also well-managed and on schedule.

My passion is transforming living spaces into environments that reflect both beauty and functionality. With a foundation in design, complemented by strong project management and budgeting skills, I ensure that each project runs predictably and meets both expectations and deadlines.

I began my design career offering home staging services for sellers and realtors. While I loved helping increase the value of homes through thoughtful staging, I discovered my true calling: collaborating with clients to create spaces they would enjoy for years to come.

Design Philosophy

Great design starts with listening. I work closely with clients to understand their needs, guide decision-making, and develop a clear plan and budget. Unfortunately, too many people face projects with unclear costs and timelines. By integrating the project management expertise I honed in my previous career, I aim to eliminate surprises and ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.

A Bit About Me

I grew up in Kansas City, MO, and earned my degree from the University of Texas at Austin. In 1999, I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to manage technical projects for Charles Schwab until 2006. Following my passion for design, I pursued certification in Interior Design & Interior Architecture at UC Berkeley and have been practicing as an interior designer for the past decade.

I live in Burlingame with my husband, Mike, and our two children, Drew (Class of 2025) and Katie (Class of 2026). When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and finding inspiration in the vibrant communities and landscapes of the Bay Area.
